TAKE IT TO THE LIMIT

Jay Leno called him the “Speilberg of motorcycle movies” as well he might, since Peter Starr produced over 40 films about motorcycle racing between 1973 and 1993 – his most famous being the iconic TAKE IT TO THE LIMIT. Peter will visit Ducati Manchester on July 22nd to give a private big screen showing of his most awarded movie as a benefit for Starr’s current charitable cause – MENS CANCER.

His presentation starts out with a short talk about prostate cancer before launching into the movie, then at the end of the movie he will stay behind to talk to as many men who want a one on one discussion about this most common of male cancers.

It is not all a serious evening, Starr’s iconic movie, which was first released in the cinema in 1980, has been lauded and reviewed as one of the greatest, if not the greatest motorcycle movie of its era.

See the stars of the day, Kenny Roberts, Barry Sheene, Mike Hailwood, Mick Andrews, Roger DeCoster, Marty Smith, Steve Baker, Russ Collins, Jay Springsteen, and more, show us why so many consider this period in the late 1970s, the Golden era.

Come and see Peter and his multi-award winning movie will be at:
Ducati Manchester, Dalton House , Washway Road, Sale . M33 7AR on July 22nd at 5:00 PM
