DUCATI GLASGOW NOW PART OF DUCATI MANCHESTER GROUP

We’re taking things to the next level…

STATEMENT FROM DUCATI GLASGOW

We know all too well that 2020 has been a challenging year and extremely testing for businesses. Unfortunately, at the end of November the companies responsible for Ducati and Triumph Glasgow went into administration.

However, it’s with great pleasure and excitement that we announce that Ducati Glasgow is under new ownership and now part of the award-winning Ducati Manchester Group (DMG). Ducati Glasgow are delighted to be able to re-open their doors to the public on Friday 11th December for a week of outstanding offers and deals – and mulled wine too!

Tim Maccabee – DUCATI UK

Tim Maccabee, managing director, Ducati UK, commented:
“I am very pleased to see that Ducati Glasgow will continue to operate in Scotland representing Ducati and offering continuity to its loyal customers. The DMG group is highly regarded by Ducati which has been recognised both in the UK and globally through a number of awards for sales and service. I believe Ducati customers in Scotland are in good hands with Chris and the DMG group and an exciting future lies ahead.”

More about Ducati Manchester Group…

Chris Booth founded the DMG in 2002 and operates four award-winning Ducati dealerships in Preston, Manchester, Stoke and Worcester.

Chris commented, “We are really pleased to be welcoming all of the hard-working staff of Ducati Glasgow & Triumph Glasgow to the DMG team. It made total sense for us to include the Glasgow dealerships in our Group and I am proud to be serving Scotland with all that DMG can offer – as well as embracing all existing and new customers to our family. We are already planning to bring our award-winning customer service, social events, ride outs and trips to Scotland. The businesses will remain at the current Hillington address for the next few months, but we are planning a new store location for later in 2021. Any deposits placed previously will be honoured.”

Looking to the future…

Ducati Glasgow would like to take this opportunity to thank you, our loyal customers, during this transition period as we know it may have been unsettling. We’re also delighted to reassure you that we have our same dedicated team of staff from both dealerships with us and kindly ask for your patience whist we introduce new systems, processes and operating procedures in our dealerships. We’ll be working hard to deliver the next level in customer service.

Look forward to seeing and serving you again soon,

Team Ducati Glasgow
